Bas Haring is a Dutch philosopher and computer scientist. He calls himself "philosopher Philosopher", because he tries to make science and philosophy comprehensible to all in a fresh and accessible way. For his best-known book 'Cheese and the theory of evolution' he received the Golden Owl for Youth Literature in 2002. By 2016, Bas Haring won the Clear Language Prize for the clear exposition of scientific subjects.
