The Kolisbos is a forest area to the south of Sint-Huibrechts-Lille. Originally this area was called the Kolisheide (Kolis Heath), named after the town of Kolis. Later on the heathland was planted with mainly Scots pine for wood production. Since the 1980s, attempts have been made to give the forest, that still includes patches of heather, a more natural character. The western part of the forest is characterised by a sand quarry.
The forest is intersected by the Kolisloop (or Dorperloop) that flows south to north and discharges into the Warmbeek. Near the Kolisloop there are forests with birch and oak trees and also some birch woodlands.
